Nothing will change until WE elect to change it.

In Illinois, we have had 20+ years of nearly unfettered, single party rule and, here in Chicago, it has been a lot longer. Unfortunately, with the push further left, known as "Progressive", we are continuing DOWN the wrong path. Our children can't read & aren't proficient in math. Our elected officials work to decriminalize criminals. They continue to tax & spend despite having the 2nd highest property taxes and one of the highest costs of living in the US. Our state government, with nearly 7,000 taxing units, is THE largest in the country and is bloated & broken and brings with it skyrocketing (nearly $150B) unfunded pension liabilities. Unemployment is up and residents & employers are leaving. All the while, we have a humanitarian crisis with the influx of migrants from our wide-open Southern border.

We did not get here overnight but, we have an opportunity this November to either begin to correct the path we are on or double-down with more "progressive" politicians. Doubling down with more "progressive" politicians has not worked with Brandon Johnson here in Chicago and it will not work in Springfield either.

In order for change to happen WE need to come back together. We need to stop allowing the few who vote control the future of the many. We need to stop "progressives" from taking us further DOWN the wrong path. We need to tell the CTU that they can no longer pick and fund our elected officials. We need to vote in November and say 'ENOUGH IS ENOUGH'.
