“It’s in us that we must place our trust.”

That is not just the introductory line of the Blackhawks pre-game video, that is a statement that resonates with me on a much deeper level.

Here we are in 2024, divided as a nation more than we have (maybe) ever been – both the far left & far right trying to do nothing more than keep us divided. Here in Illinois, with over 20 years of unfettered, single-party rule, nothing has been done for you & I. Here in Illinois we have a system that is broken, broke & busted. We are facing an unfunded pension liability of nearly $150 billion. We have nearly 7,000 taxable government units. We have public schools that are failing our children and, now, we have a humanitarian crisis with the influx of migrants. We need change and that is why I am running for office.
